University of Southampton's 3D Printed SULSA UAS is Successfully Launched from HMS Mersey, a Royal Navy River-class Offshore Patrol Vessel

The University of Southampton successfully launched a UAS from HMS Mersey, a Royal Navy River-class Offshore Patrol Vessel. The Southampton University Laser Sintered Aircraft (SULSA), though, was created by a 3D printer. Labeled as the "world's first all printed aircraft", SULSA can be fully assembled from its component parts to flight ready in just 10 minutes without the use of any tools.
