STEM V – Conduct STEM Outreach to Minority K-12 Students Using UAS as a Learning Platform(A73_A11L.UAS.53)
The FAA would like to expand the number and types of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Outreach approaches that use Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as the central learning platform. There is a strong desire to incorporate STEM Outreach to students from groups who are under-represented in STEM fields. The goal of this research effort is to inspire the next generation toward technical careers, specifically in aviation related fields.
